Pebeo Fantasy Paint Jewelry

Pebeo Catholic Jewelry by Wanda Maria Designs.

I recently became addicted to Pebeo's fantasy paint, particularly the Prisme version.  I "discovered" it in the clearance section of my local Hobby Lobby store.  After pouring through the pamphlets in the area regarding this paint, I was amazed that I did not know about this magical paint before.  How is that possible?  I'm not sure what the situation was concerning the paint, however, on the Facebook Pebeo group page which I belong to, someone mentioned that Hobby Lobby was clearing it out because of lack of interest/ineffective marketing.  I'm not sure how true that is, that's just what I found out through the online rumor mill.  Since my initial discovery and purchase of this paint, I have purchased several additional bottles online and from a local art store in my area.

I have been experimenting with applying different color combinations of this paint on different materials, such as on metal, glass, wood, stone and other things.  One thing is certain - regardless of which colors I use - the designs and patterns which form within the paint as it dries are simply beautiful and interesting.  I added a coat of resin over the top of the paint on the jewelry pieces in order to better preserve them during wear.

Below are some of the jewelry items I have made using cross bezels I had on hand; the images were borrowed from my Instagram page:

There are additional pieces I have made which I have yet to make into completed jewelry designs.  I hope to share more photographs here as I complete those pieces, as well as other new designs.  Be sure to check back here for upcoming posts on my latest polymer clay jewelry pieces and how to market/package jewelry pieces on a budget.

Newest Resin Jewelry Necklace Designs

Earlier in the week, I promised I'd share with you some of my latest necklace designs.  I made several resin pendants and fashioned most of them into beaded necklaces.  So, without further ado, here they are:

St. Therese of Lisieux

Our Lady of Fatima

Virgin Mary and Jesus

Our Lady of Sorrows

A real dried viola flower set inside a white resin pendant.

A trio of my latest resin necklace designs.

Some of the resin pendants before they were made into necklaces.

Real dried flower resin pendants.  Morning glory, viola and pansy flowers.

More dried flower pendants.  These include daisies, violas and more.

More resin pendants.

This particular necklace isn't made from resin, but it is a new design for me, so I thought I'd also share it.
The Immaculate Heart of Mary

I have put together some awesome tutorials I will be posting in the near future, so be sure to stop by regularly.  You can also see some of my newest projects on Instagram.

And as always, you can find my latest completed designs available on both EBay and Etsy for sale until they sell.

Mini Wall Crosses Are Back - While They Last!

Last year, as the result of several requests from my customers, I made several mini wall crosses featuring Catholic saints.  These proved to be such a hit that they sold out pretty quickly.  The crosses are all made from wood which has been coated with resin.  I just made and posted several of these to my EBay and Etsy shops.  Due to limited supplies available to make these, once they sell, there won't be anymore for quite awhile, so please be sure to get them while you can if you missed out on them the first time around.  Some of the new crosses posted include:

St. Cecilia

St. Joseph
St. Margaret of Antioch

Some of the newest mini wall crosses.

There are many more which were listed - too many to list here.  Other images include: St. Rita of Cascia, St. Lucy of Syracuse, St. Agnes of Rome, the Infant of Prague and many more!

Thanks for stopping by!

Triple-Layered Crucifix Crystal Necklace

A dear friend of mine, Kama, had a birthday last week.  Kama has a really vibrant personality - and wouldn't you know it?  Her favorite color is red - such a fitting color for her.  I wanted to make Kama something special for her birthday - so I made her a triple-layered crucifix necklace which features bright red AB Swarovski crystals and rhinestone chain (with earrings to match).  I'm happy to say - Kama loved it!

Here are some pics of the necklace and matching earrings:

I had a great time making the necklace and I'm tempted to make similar designs in different colors.  I've been collecting rhinestone chain and rivoli stones like there's no tomorrow and I have a ton of beads.  Looks like I've got some creating to do.....

Virgin Mary Necklace, Earrings and Saints Charm Bracelets

I've been on another jewelry making roll (so what else is new, right?) and I want to share my latest designs with you:

Virgin Mary Necklace ( I love the retro avocado green colors in this.  Even the filigree pendant base I used is avocado green):

Filigree dangle earrings, featuring my favorite subject, the Virgin Mary (yes, I know, I am so predictable. I just can't help myself...):

Catholic saints loaded charm bracelet in shades of pastel pink and white:
And another view of the bracelet with the portrait charms all separated out:
This was a custom order for a lady with a very tiny wrist who wanted a simpler version of a Catholic saints charm bracelet.  She selected the saints for her bracelet, who are (from left to right): St. Fiacre, St. Barbara, St. Hildegard, St. Joan of Arc and St. Brigid of Sweden.  I've collected saints images since I was a little girl and literally have thousands of images in my collection, even the more obscure and hard-to-find saints:

And speaking of custom orders, one of my best selling items these days are my folk art wooden cross necklaces.  These have been selling like hotcakes the past few months and I've made them with just about every perceivable image.  As always, any jewelry items pictured here and/or custom jewelry requests can be ordered by contacting me through this blog or visiting my Etsy and EBay stores.
As always, thanks for letting me share my creations with you!
