I received this terrific award from Cindy Celusta. Cindy, what can I say? I'm honored to be recognized by such a talented individual like your self. Thanks so much! You made my day!
This is what the award is all about:
"This blog invests and believes in the PROXIMITY-nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement! Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers!”
In the spirit of paying it forward, I am to pass this award onto 8 deserving bloggers. In no particular order, here they are:
1) Lisa Kettell:
I met Lisa on FLICKR a couple of years ago. She is one of the most generous and giving people I have ever met in the art world. She goes out of her way to make others feel special and she doesn't hesitate to share her tips and success with others;
2) Melissa Ustik:
Melissa is another awesome artist I met on FLICKR. I am forever amazed at her unique artwork and am thrilled to be the owner of a couple of her art pieces;
3) Christine Alvarado:
Christine is an amazing dollmaker. I became hooked on her dolls the first time I laid eyes on them on Etsy and I am proud to say I own of her gorgeous creations;
4) Victoria Gertenbach:
This lady can make the most interesting things out of fabric. She never ceases to amaze me with her charming creations;
5) Mary Ann McKeating:
Mary Ann is the brainchild of the "Itty Bitty Book Club". She got me hooked on these mini art books, and just like Fritos, you can't stop at just one. These things are soooooo addicting.
6) Claudia Sullins:
I met Claudia on EBay. She started out being one of my customers, and we quickly became friends. Claudia is a generous, friendly spirit and I'm so glad I got to know her. Her handmade crucifixes are beautiful;
7) Gillian Allen:
I have been a long time admirer of Gillian's work and Art-E-Zine website. She doesn't hesitate to share her artsy tips with others. Needless to say, I was thrilled when she invited me to participate in a recent Goth Postcard Swap she hosted;
8) Elizabeth Bonura:
What can I say about Elizabeth? Her polymer clay designs are exquisite. When you look at one of her polymer clay flowers, you can't tell that it's a sculpture. She has created some of the most beautiful work I've ever seen - a true inspiration.
Please be sure to visit these blogs. I think you will see why I find these people - and their work - so amazing.
